firstly, that change isn't always a bad thing, and alec is a good person whose back i'd have any day
secondly, that. in spite of the first thing, you deserve to be happy and comfortable just as much as john. and this shouldn't just be about making him happy. he loves you, and he'll care about how you feel. you should talk to him. be honest with him.

It's hard to be honest when it's nothing more solid than "this will change things". It's not like I don't want Alec to live with us- nor do I think it's not a good idea when I can protect him as best I can under my room.
