especially here, where property/finances/whatever are a part of contracts not marriages
like say if i married you. it wouldn't give you anything of mine bc you're not contracted to me, and also we couldn't live together bc we're not contracted and we both love other people so we wouldn't be vowing monogamy, and we couldn't vow to stay together for as long as we're alive bc it's not our choice
this place also doesn't believe in or really DO marriage anyways a permanent contract is probably as close as it gets but i guess people fall for that happily ever after bullshit like i was saying in my post
