SUBVERSION
Subversion is an oasis in the middle of the city, a fantasy where you're allowed to forget your designation, where you can enjoy a stiff drink, a cocktail, a beer, or a glass of wine. Most days there is some form of live music, generally fitting into a rock music theme: whether it's old school rock and roll, modern alternative rock, softer acoustic notes or a straight up head-banging classic, there'll be something good to enjoy. When no one is booked, popular standards are played over the speakers. Settle into a comfortable booth with a drink in hand, or get moving with a partner on the dance floor; the downstairs is where it's at.
Upstairs, your experience is more private, darker. If you want to get away from it all, this is where you can lay your hat down. Met someone you like and want to get a little more intimate? There are comfortable private spaces, curtained off and charmed to keep listening ears away. And what's behind those doors? Here you'll find a set of three dark rooms, labelled not according to designation but for anatomical preference; male only, female only, and anything goes. These rooms offer a genuinely anonymous experience; entirely dark, filled with soft furnishings and warm bodies, these are places to feel your way. Charmed for safety, these rooms will expel any who act against consent. Play nice, and come again.

Friday - Saturday: 2 p.m. - 2 a.m.
Sunday - Thursday: 5 p.m. - 12 a.m.
