Player Plot - Doorways - Network Post

« Name: Nate
« Handle: nate

« OOC: This is posted after window-like portals start appearing in Duplicity as a result of this plot. There's also a log for the plot here. Note: Nate's replies to people here will all come after the spell has stopped and he's in jail.

[ It's hard to tell what's actually going on behind Nate. There's other people moving around, and there's the edge of some sort of swirling...something, which he's turned away from. His skin is sallow and his eyes are wild; they keep flicking off in different directions. He's breathless and clearly worried, and he really hasn't planned any of what he's about to say, so it all comes out in a rush. ]

I...shit, this isn't--

Look, there's...if you see one of these portal, things- [ He adjusts the camera, briefly, to better show the swirling mass of energy behind him. The swirl of energy is around the edges, and within, there's something else. It might be stars, it might be landscape. It's difficult to tell, because Nate doesn't let the camera linger on it long enough to be certain. ]

Don't look into it. Just don't, not even for a minute, it...you'll see things that aren't there, awful things that - fuck!

[ He flinches away, eyes scanning the area again. Nothing came near him. ]

It was an accident. Fuck, we were trying... I was trying to open a door, but it didn't work. We'll close them. We'll work it out, I'll stop this.

I'm sorry. Don't look into them, please.

[ Nate's eyes widen and he blurs out of sight. The camera winks off, and he sends the message before he does anything else, just to make sure it goes. ]
